Chad A.Leat is a retired high-profile financial professional who spent decades with Citigroup and other firms on Wall Street. He’s also a Tonganoxie, Kansas, native who attended the University of Kansas in his youth to become the first member of his family to earn a college degree. He retired as Vice Chairman of Global Banking at Citigroup Inc. in 2013 – after decades with the company – and Chad Leat has decades of markets and banking experience on Wall Street.

At the beginning of his career, Chad A. Leat joined Salomon Brothers in 1997 as a partner in High Yield Capital Markets. Salomon Brothers became Citigroup in 1998. There, he served as the Global Head of Loans and Leveraged Finance, among other roles, and was credited with growing the business to become one of the largest loan and high-yield firms on Wall Street.
